Bingo came to us through Great Pyrenees Rescue of WNC, and we will forever be grateful to them! Bingo was brought to a shelter by his former owner, and as is typical of the GP breed, they do not do well in shelter environments. He was completely shut down, panicked, and running out of time. The director of GP Rescue heard about Bingo and got to him just in time, the very day before he was set to be put down. It is impossible to imagine that fate for such an incredible dog. Bingo came “home” to the Sanctuary in May of 2026, and immediately won all our hearts! He is 90 % love and 10% fur. He has never met a person or animal that he didn’t love, and he has fit in completely with his herd of alpaca, sheep, and goats.
